Almost Perfect Forms by michael stewart published by Ugly Duckly Press is a a reading as a constellation of Dreams and Stones by Magdalena Tulli. The map taking of a way to read a text as an encoding of an image or a map or in this case an astrological map of constellations built of the conjunctions found in the text. This accidental writing of constellations in the original text then excavated in the text and drawing of constellations by micheal stewart suggest a strategy for rendering language as an abstracted but concrete decodable visual artifact. Can this be a model for queering the text? Opening up the secret pictures hidden in histories whose texts present only the allowed narratives of the sanctioned story tellers...
